Services
As a CalRecycle Certified Processing Center, we promptly pay applicable CRV rates, processing payments and administrative fees for qualifying glass containers to CalRecycle Certified programs including recycling centers, curbside collection programs, and other certified entities. We also pay applicable market value scrap rates for color sorted and mixed color glass. We accept and beneficiate the following types of glass recycling streams:
California Redemption Centers – CRV Glass
Halo Glass Recycling is a CalRecycle certified processing center accepting California Redemption glass beverage containers from any CalRecycle Certified Recycling Center. We accept qualifying color sorted and mixed color glass containers at our facility.
We do not take glass directly from the public.

MRF Glass
At our state-of-the-art glass beneficiation facility, we accept and process curbside, mixed container glass from Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs). We also offer collaborative glass-clean-up solutions to ensure the highest recovery of glass possible.
Applicable tipping fees are negotiable based on the quality of the recovered glass stream.

Dropoff, Collection Programs & Community Service Programs
Halo Glass Recycling partners with a variety of programs already established in communities to receive food-safe container glass including beverage containers and jars. As a full-service partner, we will work to find consolidation and freight solutions to ensure communities can continue to receive the benefits of these programs.
We do not currently accept automobile, commercial or household glass (e.g., windshields, windows, dishes, drinking glasses).

Additional Services - Decase & Destruction
At Halo, we provide destruction services for unusable container glass. We receive and handle empty, palletized glass in both bulk and packed forms, and can coordinate the return of any reusable dunnage. We also accept collection bins with empty glass containers for processing.
We are capable of handling open containers filled with collected glass, palletized bulk glass, and unfilled packware.
