Halo Glass Recycling is constructing a state-of-the-art glass processing facility in Modesto, California. This facility will convert glass sourced from buy-back centers and Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) into color sorted, furnace ready cullet for the glass container industry. Situated within a mile of Gallo Glass, the United States’ largest glass manufacturing plant, Halo Glass Recycling will supply high quality cullet providing significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
When Will Halo Glass Open?
The facility is on track to be operational in Q3 2022 processing all types of waste glass. Prior to this time, Halo Glass Recycling will purchase and store redemption glass containers in preparation for commissioning and startup. MRF glass will come online once construction is complete.
