As a CalRecycle Certified Processing Center for container glass, Halo Glass Recycling provides glass processing services to communities located in Northern California. At our site in Modesto, California, we can accept container glass from the following types of glass recycling streams:
California Redemption Centers – CRV Glass
We do not take glass directly from the public.
MRF Glass
Beginning in Q1 2023, Halo Glass Recycling will receive mixed container glass from Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs). As a CalRecycle Certified Processing Center, we pay applicable CRV rates, processing payments and administrative fees for the volume of redeemed beverage containers within the waste stream.
Applicable tipping fees are negotiable based on the quality of the recovered glass stream.
Dropoff, Collection Programs & Community Service Programs
Halo Glass Recycling accepts food-safe container glass including beverage containers and jars. As a CalRecycle Certified Processing Center, we pay applicable CRV redemption rates in addition to scrap glass rates.
We do not currently accept automobile, commercial or household glass (e.g., windshields, windows, dishes, drinking glasses).
Community Collection – Halo Glass Bins
Halo Glass Recycling also operates a community-based drop-off collection program. Locate our drop off sites and to learn more about our free program.
